Our programs work to support opportunities that Caroline and Ora did not have available to them. We work to promote, sponsor, support, and train Native American girls and women in STEM fields in programs that are evidence-based, cultural appropriate, and tailored to what works best in each specific community.

Focusing on Native American girls in grade school, middle school, junior high school, college, and graduate programs, the Foundation will initially fund the sponsorship of Native American girls and women in well-established STEM programs that are evidence-based, culturally appropriate, and have proven track records of success. The Foundation will track the progress of the participants that that are sponsored with a goal of providing measurable outcomes that can be replicated at other sites.

The plan is to start with the first cohort of American Indian and Alaska Native girls in urban settings in Chicago and Milwaukee with existing STEM programs and accompanying support structures.
